The difficulty level is perfect as well some challenges easy and others difficult. I won't lie I needed to use a walkthrough for a lot of this game but it doesn't take away from the gameplay for me. You dream about your dream girl, try to kiss her irl, and spend the whole game collecting kisses from villagers and underground residents across three different towns. The concept of the game is so fresh and addicting. This game reminds me of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life meets Chibi Robo meets maybe the quirky-ness of Beautiful Katamari. Since that a few months passed, I youtubed the game and became obsessed. This game appeared in my local video game store and I didn't purchase it. This game is honestly one of the best games I've played in a long time. Trying to kiss the girl before she's ready will result in a painful rejection, however, and players lose the game if the poor boy suffers too many turn-downs. The boy's ultimate goal in Chulip is to win this girl over, so she'll allow him to give her a kiss, beneath an ancient, magical tree - an action that all but grantees they'll live happily ever after together, according to local legend. Taking the role of the boy, there is one local person of special interest to the player: a particular young girl (of course) who steals his heart at first glance. The locals are suspicious, and already making judgments about the boy and his father before they even settle into their new home. The game's protagonist is a boy who has just moved to town from the big city.
